YOUR WEEKLY RESET RITUAL

Ground Lab — a recurring sound bath circle where we move our bodies, our breath, and our vibration. This is a journey with the intention of settling the nervous system and bringing you back to yourself. A "Very Portland," event that not only gets you out of your comfort zone, but it can also have very profound effects on your body and spirit. This is something you may come back to as a piece of your wellness regime, or it may become your weekly time to have for yourself, a return to self, a reminder with rhythm. It's a pretty big deal if you let it.

Bowls, breath, stillness. Leave lighter than when you arrived. New friends are warmly welcomed.

Ground Lab is part of the LAB series — Listen · Allow · Belong.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • We meet, we mindfully set up our spaces, we chat softly. Mats, blankets, and bolsters are provided.

  • Circle open, somatic movement settle-in, connect with breath, and Spirit Leaf Ritual

  • Sound journey — Graham, frosted crystal singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, harmonium, gong, shamanic instruments

  • Brief seated meditation + share + collective sigh

  • Softer return with energy work, Reiki undertones, and Graham's signature closing

  • Goodbye song + integration

The Essentials

  • Arrive on time. Settling in matters.

  • Props provided — mats, bolsters, blankets (bring your own if preferred)

  • Dress cozy and layered — body temp drops in deep relaxation

  • Bring water — there is a water fill station on the ground floor

  • Yums — oranges and seasonal nourishment provided

  • Capacity is intentionally held small — around 12.

  • BYOS. Cannabis-integrated — there will be smoke. Consume edibles beforehand to align with the start. No hard drugs.

A Few Pro Tips

  • Blanket on top of the mat — comfort upgrade.

  • Restroom before.

  • Keep the space above your head clear — Graham moves through the room.

  • Come calm. Energetic catch-ups happen after.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Do participants play instruments? No, not typically, the session is more of an active meditative experience. You'll be guided to explore different meditation, breathwork, and some mindful movement. There is a goodbye song at the end where you are welcome to sing along.

  • Am I required to smoke or eat edibles? No — You can come and enjoy the journey in the way that you prefer. We do not allow hard drugs.

  • How smoky does it get? It's really not that bad. We try to keep it intimate with 12 people. We have a larger space, and if it does get a little "too much," we can turn on the fans or open the windows. Also, there's a small atrium off the prop closet where you can take a breather if you're feeling the call.

  • Do I have to participate? Yes. Be brave. You can do it.
