A Final Ceremonial Night at Aloka — Sound Bath House
Celebrating the end of our beloved pop-up chapter (Sept 2, 2025 – Jan 2, 2026)

Four months of candlelight, tears, breakthroughs, and pure magic began on September 2, 2025. They end on January 2, 2026 — with you. One final gathering to let this room sing us out the way it sang us in: completely, tenderly, unapologetically alive.

Graham SlickNamed Best Sound Bath Experience by Willamette Week’s Best of Portland Readers’ Poll 2025.

A lifelong musician and spirit seeker, Graham has spent the past five years immersed in the world of sound baths, quickly emerging as a master of the form. His background in rhythm, creativity, and spiritual inquiry all converge to shape a style that’s as heart-centered as it is skillful. Expect a passionate, playful, and deeply thoughtful guide who brings warmth, curiosity, and authenticity to every session.

More About Graham

YOUR GUIDES

  • Yoga & Song with Valerie Starr — gentle movement interwoven with her luminous voice

  • The complete Aloka Sound Bath with Graham Slick: crystal + alchemy bowls, gongs, handpan, flutes, koshi chimes, voice

  • PLUS the rarely-shared trilogy, offered here for the first and final time publicly: → Balloon Bath – percussive cellular waves → Tone Resonance – pure overtone healing → HRV Breath Bath – live heart-rate coherence tones guiding the breath

  • Matcha Freak ceremonial tea journey with Katy Conners

  • Closing celebration: chi machine, intimate ear-muff sound bath tastings, open sharing circle, nourishing snacks, and every last drop of love this space has left to give

What to Expect

  • Arrive to the familiar glow of 1607 — candles low, cedar + palo santo thick, your nest already waiting (bring your coziest blanket, journal, or anything you want this room to remember you by)

  • Begin with Valerie’s slow yoga & song sequence — every pose and note a quiet thank-you to this chapter

  • Move into Katy’s Matcha Freak ceremony: ceremonial-grade matcha whisked together while we name what was born here and what we’re carrying forward

  • Lie back for Graham’s 75-minute farewell opus — the fullest expression of the Aloka sound bath, layered with all three signature experiences, played like a love letter to every soul who ever rested on these floors

  • Rise into a soft, celebratory close: chi machine rides, ear-muff sound bath whispers, open circle where every voice is welcome, simple beautiful snacks, hugs that last as long as they need

  • Leave when you’re ready — some will slip out quietly, some will stay until the last bowl is packed away. There is no rush tonight.

Benefits

  • True closure for this sacred pop-up era and everything 2025 held

  • Deep nervous-system reset and emotional composting

  • Direct remembrance of how loved, seen, and transformed you’ve been here

  • The rare intimacy of only 20 people saying goodbye together

  • Gentle caffeine lift + grounded nourishment from matcha and snacks

  • Memories (and probably tears) that will live in your bones forever

Note

  • Arrive Early — Please arrive 15 minutes early to settle in and receive your tea before the ceremony begins.

  • Fasting Recommended — For optimal experience with the mushroom tea, avoid heavy meals 2-3 hours before. Light snacks are fine. We’ll have beautiful snacks at the end.

  • Dress Comfortably — Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Layers are recommended as body temperature may fluctuate.

  • Nests — We have 20 mats (if you have a nest you are connected with please feel free to bring your own), pillows, and some blankets and bolsters. Bring your blankets and bolster in case we run out. It can also be grounding to bring a blanket that you have a connection with.

  • Stay Cozy — A blanket or shawl will help you stay warm and comfortable, enhancing your experience. We have some blankets but if you have one that you're connected with it may enhance your experience.

  • Non-caffeinated matcha available

  • Everything optional, modifiable, held with tenderness

  • Scents — Strong scents can become a distraction to yourself and others. Please refrain from strong odors (ie. perfumes, colognes, definitely no cucumber melon).

  • Stay Hydrated — Bring a water bottle to keep yourself hydrated before and after the session.

  • Health Considerations — If you're pregnant, nursing, or taking medications, please consult with the facilitator before attending. While adaptogenic mushrooms are gentle, we want to ensure this experience is right for you.

  • Set Your Intention — Take time before arriving to reflect on what you're seeking from this experience.

    Other Things

    Journal for post-journey integration

Eye mask or scarf if you prefer darkness

Crystals or sacred objects you'd like to place on the altar

Open heart and willingness to receive

    And…Readiness to journey inward.
